Short-term Nanny/Manny – A caregiver hired temporarily, such as maternity leave, or summer care. This runs through our sitter application.

$20-$30 per hour 

Permanent Nanny/Manny– A caregiver hired for part-time or full-time care who lives outside of the home and is intended to be long-term. 

A nanny provides customized and personalized childcare for children in the parent’s home. They administer one-on-one care and meets the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of the children. The nanny contributes to a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which the children thrive and develop. They keep the children’s areas neat and tidy and can do the children’s laundry. They also transport children to and from activities, can grocery shop for the children, and plan the children’s daily schedule. May include additional household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, housekeeping, and laundry.

$24-$30+ per hour

Live-In Nanny/Manny – A caregiver hired for part-time or full-time care who lives inside of the home and is intended to be long-term.
The job duties of a live-in nanny involve providing childcare services for a family. As a live-in nanny, your responsibilities may vary depending on the service that your employer needs. . A nanny may care for children in a household, run errands, and transport family members to school, sports, or appointments. 
Separate living quarters must be provided.
$22-$25+ per hour
Daily Sitter – A caregiver needed daily. Example- Fill in for your long-term nannies PTO, out of town visitors at a hotel, date nights, etc.
A babysitter takes responsibility for the health and welfare of children in their parent’s absence. Responsible for guiding, teaching, supervising and carrying out activities with the children in his or her care.
Please keep in mind that most babysitters are not professional nannies.

Nanny/Manny Share– One caregiver working with multiple families in one location hired for part-time or full-time care who lives outside of the home and is intended to be long-term. 
In a typical nanny share, two or more families employ one nanny, sharing the cost of their salary. Most nannies working in a share watch all the children together at once, and alternate between two houses, but many families work together to come up with a schedule tailored to their specific needs. Since both families are contributing to the nanny’s pay, the nanny is usually able to earn more than she would make working for a single family. 
$25-$35+ per hour (each family pays approximately two-thirds of the nanny’s hourly rate)
Housekeeper– An individual hired for part-time or full-time care who lives outside of the home and is intended to be long-term.
Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the homeowner or manager in charge. They must complete tasks like vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting shelves, cleaning windows, and mopping floors. Some Housekeepers change linens, wash dishes, and do light ironing and laundry.
$28-$35+ per hour
Household Manager – An individual hired for part-time or full-time care who lives outside of the home and is intended to be long-term. 
A household manager keeps the client’s household clean, organized, and running smoothly. Some common household management duties include scheduling contractors to service the home, managing service staff, planning meals, providing administrative assistance, and coordinating care for pets or children.
$28-$35+ per hour
