Taryn Livingstone- Director of TPN branch in Wilmington & Raleigh, NC
Taryn comes in with over 12 years of professional nanny experience herself. As a child psychology major, she prides herself in having extensive experience in all areas of development. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Taryn spent her nanny career excelling in making a reputation in the nanny industry as a Professional Nanny, House Manager, Nanny mentor and nanny/family consultant. Her portfolio consists of over a decade’s worth of clientele including several HP and HNW clients whom she has had the pleasure of working with. Together with her husband and two-year-old son they moved to the coast of North Carolina where she continues to share her knowledge of the nanny industry with others. Personally, she enjoys spending time with her two cats, her husband Hunter and son Bauer, exploring the beautiful coastal city and beaches, and reading a good novel.
Laura Mcdonnell- Director of TPN Branch in Massachusetts
Laura comes to us as a career nanny, devoting over 20 years to the industry. Laura obtained her first position as a nanny shortly after graduating college and never looked back! This extensive experience has provided her with valuable insight into the dynamics of a successful nanny placement. Her years as a nanny have also left her with an immense amount of respect for the industry. She truly understands the positive impact a nanny can have on a family and is passionate about helping families find that connection. Although no longer working as a nanny, she continues to support families through her work as a postpartum doula. Laura lives just outside of Boston Massachusetts with her 10-year-old daughter and the world’s most spoiled golden retriever, Oliver. You can usually find all three exploring new areas for hikes or adventuring around town.
Lindsey Leskowak- Administrative Assistant
Lindsey started with The Preferred Nanny as an Administrative Assistant in 2019 and has been a crucial addition to the team. She is married to her amazing husband Tom, and they have 4 outstanding children that keep their lives busy and entertained. She has been a stay-at-home mom for the past 12 years and considers that the best reward. In her spare time, she is an active volunteer as a Girl Scout leader, and at her children’s schools and loves spending time with her family at Conneaut Lake.
Barbara Krupitzer- Social Media Marketer and Nanny Recruiter
Barb has been a career nanny for the last 19 years within the Pittsburgh area. She holds teaching degrees from Carlow University as well. Working with children of all ages is her passion and she states, “It’s the best job in the world!” Barb has been heavily involved in the Pittsburgh nanny community as an event planner host and as a mentor to new nannies within the community. When not caring for littles, she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to yoga, cuddle time with her pets, and reading a good book.
