Jill Tarasi and Jessica Trgovic grew up right outside of the city of Pittsburgh in Millvale, PA. With their families as neighbors, these two were lucky to share their childhood together.  Jessica and Jill knew from a young age they had great leadership skills and were often dubbed as the neighborhood bosses.  They worked extremely well together.  As teenagers they began with babysitting jobs for family and friends and quickly became everyone’s go-to sitters. After graduating these ladies dove right into what they knew best, childcare.  From Early Childhood Education courses, to lead daycare teachers, to landing careers as professional nannies, they knew that with their expertise they could offer so much more. When both women started to have families of their own, they knew it was the perfect time to launch their business. Since 2011, Jill and Jessica have successfully placed hundreds of nannies and mannies with loving families. They take pride in the fact that they offer a unique perspective in their matchmaking abilities not only as professional nannies but as parents themselves. They truly believe this is what they were born to do.

Lindsay Leskowak started working with Jill and Jessica as an administrative assistant in 2019 and has been a wonderful addition to the team. She is the mother of four fantastic children. She has been a full-time stay at home mom for over ten years. She is also an active volunteer at her children’s elementary school and a girl scout leader.
Shara Wohlgemuth has joined The Preferred Nanny team as the Lead Nanny Recruiter. She has a bachelor's of science degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in teaching, She currently works in the city of Pittsburgh as a learning support teacher. Shara has five years of experience in nannying and has worked with numerous families. We are so excited to have her join our team!
